Having last played for the Los Angeles Lakers for a season in the NBA, Taoyuan Leopards All-Star Dwight Howard is, however, a famous prospect in the T1 League to get selected in the 3-point contest.
Besides his emerging overseas performance, the NBA Champion has come forward with a public reveal on a recent lawsuit and assault case in relation to one of his past interactions dating back to 2021.
Howard openly admitted his alleged relationship with Stephen Harper, whom he met on Instagram back on May 29, 2021, followed by their two-month conversation prior to the physical altercation.
After two months of online texting, the two were sexually involved at their first meeting, followed by a probable threesome situation involving a third man, later ending in an assault against Harper.
The private conversations on Instagram were later leaked on social media, showcasing Howard's sexual implicants from the messages made to Harper, with debates emerging over Howard's sexuality.
Howard's sexuality rumors started up again in his DM message to Harper, stating, “Now I want you to know I’m not like gay or anything. I’m just a little nasty sometimes. Ion wants to offend you.”
The rumors, however, link up to his 2019 lawsuit with Masin Elijie, a gay man, on their alleged romantic relationship, with claims of harassment and threats on the part of the 2020 NBA champion.
Rejecting the allegations at that time, Dwight later clarified, "I'm not gay. It's a lot of people who are and they have to hide, and there's people who have mental issues and they have to hide."
“I saw the pure hate from people that I never met before just pile up everywhere I went against me. That liberated me because I saw how a lot of people would feel whether they’re gay or straight."
With several comments pondering over by people on social media, Dwight has denied all allegations on the matter, stating the case against Stephen Harper as a mere consensual sexual activity.
