Dustin Poirier Says It Sucks Nate Diaz is No Longer With the UFC

Dustin Poirier is all set to take on Michael Chandler this weekend at UFC 281 inside Madison Square Garden.

This is the longest that Poirier has waited between both fights, marking 11 months of absence from his last fight.

And we can all blame his back and forth with Nate Diaz for the delay. A fight which never capitalized.

Now that Nate Diaz has left the UFC, finishing his contract after last fight with Tony Ferguson, here's what Poirier had to say.

"I have always wanted to fight Nate. We tried to make it happen a few times, it always fell apart. It sucks that he has gone out now I will not get that chance. But it is what it is." Poirier said.

Nate Diaz is no longer with the UFC and competed in his last fight back at UFC UFC 279. He was initially scheduled to take on Khamzat Chimaev.

Nate Diaz is now looking to venture into boxing, and fans are expecting him to fight Jake Paul next.

Meanwhile, Poirier will look to bounce back to the winning column after losing to Charles Oliveira in his last fight.
