The rivalry between Brock Lesnar and Kurt Angle is widely regarded as one of the most entertaining storylines in WWE history.
Lesnar and Angle first went head-to-head in the main event of WrestleMania 19, after Lesnar emerged victorious in the 2003 Royal Rumble and issued a challenge to Angle for the WWE Championship.
While Brock Lesnar is generally not known for his sense of humor, his early career in WWE did showcase some hilarious moments from the intense fighter.
One particular moment that stood out was when Lesnar kissed Angle on the lips during a match, leaving the Olympic gold medalist questioning whether Lesnar actually liked him.
In a 2003 SmackDown episode, Lesnar and Angle faced off, and Lesnar pulled a surprising move by kissing Angle on the lips after luring him in with a handshake.
Angle discussed the unexpected kiss with Lesnar on his podcast, The Kurt Angle Show, and recalled his initial shock at the gesture.
"It shocked the s–t out of me, man! Of all people to do it, Brock Lesnar? Like, he never does this kind of stuff, so it was like, ‘Does he really like me?’" Kurt explained.
Despite the surprise, their friendship only grew stronger over the years. Angle praised Lesnar's work ethic, stating that he's dedicated to being the best and willing to do whatever it takes to win.
