Health and fitness for NBA players have always been important aspects. In order to perform well, they need to maintain themselves in terms of their physicality, be it through workouts or diet plans.

For LA Clippers star player Kawhi Leonard, one of the best defenders and ball handlers, his workouts have provided him with an advantage in terms of mobility and stability in the game

The athletic body that he carries comes from his daily workout routines, including dynamic warm-ups like drills, stretches, and skips for physical exertion and mobility drills like deep squat.

His workout plans for Monday- Friday routine include gym training like pushups, dumbbell shrugs, presses and front raises, planks, V-ups, weighted sit-ups, oblique crunches with rest on weekends.

From planned diets by a nutritionist to home-cooked meals from his mother, Kawhi tries to keep it quite simple, including chicken tossed in veggies, a sandwich and juice, or a pre-game protein bar.

One can go for his breakfast plan, like eggs with bell peppers and mushrooms, and a morning snack, including a protein shake made from bananas, spinach, vanilla-flavored protein powder, and avocado.

As for his lunch option, it includes a salad, some seeds or nuts, munchies as an afternoon snack, and a plant-based burger with sides like salads or some sweet potatoes or opt for fish as a protein.

The ath;ete himself talked about his diet plans during an interview. "I just try to stay away from beef and pork - "I'll try to get something like grilled chicken or fish with some vegetables."
