Shawn Michaels, the two-time WWE Hall of Famer, is currently Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative for WWE.

Shawn Michaels has been running the creative direction of WWE NXT since late 2021.

Mandy Rose had been the NXT Women's Champion since October 2021, and Mandy's title reign lasted for 413 days.

Roxanne Perez then defeated Mandy Rose to become the next NXT Women's Champion, bringing an end to Mandy's incredible 413-day title reign.

WWE then fired Mandy Rose due to the explicit content Rose was posting on her FanTime page.

The WWE management felt that the content Mandy was posting was violating the parameters of the WWE contract.

In the NXT media conference call to promote the Vengeance Day Premium Live Event on December 4, Shawn Michaels revealed that he didn't fire Mandy and holds no position to fire a superstar in the company; he is just in charge of creative.

Shawn also said , "I think Mandy was fantastic for us. I absolutely enjoyed working with her. She was a phenomenal champion. We would have loved things to have gone different and been able to build our story with Roxanne....."
