In a recent press conference, Dana White was asked about an incident between him and Nate Diaz a few years ago.
Dana White tried stalling and neither confirmed nor denied. He just smiled and said, “Allegedly, allegedly. We were drinking.”
Nate Diaz will fight Khamzat Chimaev in the upcoming UFC 279. This could be potentially Diaz's last fight in the UFC.
"He’s been a big part of this company for a very long time....if Nate’s ready to make this his last fight, I wish him all the best in the world.” Stated Dana on Diaz's retirement.
Nate Diaz has lost his last two fight in the UFC. His last win came back in 2019 against Anthony Pettis at UFC 241.
Diaz's next opponent Khamzat Chimaev is yet to lose a UFC bout. He is 5-0 since his UFC debut in 2020. Chimaev has also won bounuses in all of his fights so far.
