On 2nd December, The world witnessed one of the most dramatic comebacks of all time from South Korea against Portugal to make it to the Round of 16

South Korea from 1:0 down stunned the Portuguese to win by 2:1 thanks to the extra time goal by Hwang Hee-chan

Amidst the defeat, Ronaldo's outrage against Portugal's coach and a South Korean player became the talking point.

Ronaldo was in the starting 11 vs South Korea however he was subbed off the pitch in the 65th minute. The Portuguese no.7 couldn't take the substitution lightly and he was furious and hesitant while going off.

When Fernando Santos was asked about Ronaldo's frustrated reaction after the game, He said, "on the pitch, I didn't hear anything. I was too far, and this is why I only saw him arguing with a South Korean player, and nothing else.

However, a day later in another interview, He spoke about the incident and admitted that he didn't like Ronaldo's reaction after watching the actual footage.

The Portuguese head coach stated, "Have I already watched the footage? Yes. I didn't like it. Didn't like it at all. From there, it's things you sort out internally."

Santos certainly expected his talisman to handle the situation maturely and was disappointed with him. Santos also didn't confirm that Ronaldo would be in the starting 11 against Morroco however it is unlikely that he won't start.
