Cristiano Ronaldo has criticized the facilities at United's practice facility. The forward, who had spent some time in Manchester between 2003 and 2009, came for a second stint in 2020 and was startled by the lack of progress.

"The progress was nil," he said to Piers Morgan. I didn't notice any change in the club after Sir Alex left. Nothing has been different. Nobody is more aware than Ferguson that the team is not moving in the direction it should.

Manchester United is prepared to renovate the Carrington facilities during the summer. The club's training facility, which has drawn criticism for not meeting modern-day standards, will see a wellness room constructed.

United has plans to further enhance its training facility. They have hired Mads Mernagh to serve as the project's program director and have selected KSS as coordinators for the long-term plan.

Constructing a housing block that would enable employees and players to stay on-site is one of the potential upgrade plans, as is establishing more relaxed locations for players to rest.

Circled Dot

Gary Neville has long criticized the Glazers, saying that "Manchester United hasn't spent much in the arena, and they haven't put that much in the training ground."

The stadium is rusting and needs significant financial investment, he continued, adding that "They've not yet engaged with the football operation, the player and acquisition department, or the player itself."

Gary Neville concluded by saying, "Manchester United need a billion pounds in the next two to three years to either rebuild or restore that stadium."
