Cristiano Ronaldo R*pe Allegation Case Update

Portuguese soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo had been accused of r*ping a model in Las Vegas in 2009.

According to the accuser, who was a former teacher and model, she met Ronaldo at a nightclub in 2009. After she went to Ronaldo's suit with others, the soccer star allegedly assaulted her sexually.

Ronaldo has always denied the allegations. His lawyer had confirmed that there was only a consensual sexual encounter. The soccer star has never been charged over the allegations.

In 2010, the accuser had reportedly signed a confidential agreement with the Portuguese soccer star and took $375,000 in hush money.

The accuser later claimed that she had been forced to sign the nondisclosure agreement and accept the settlement amount. In 2018, she first filed a civil lawsuit against Ronaldo.

In June 2022, the accuser's federal civil case against Ronaldo was dismissed by a Las Vegas court. As the case was dismissed with prejudice, the victim can't refile the complaint.

Last Wednesday (October 4), the accuser's lawyers attempted to reopen that civil r*pe case against Ronaldo. The victim is demanding millions more by voiding the previous confidential agreement.

The 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals is ready to hear the accuser's lawyers’ points. The San Francisco-based appellate court is likely to not come with an immediate verdict.
