The year 2023 seems to become the jailbreak year for Ronaldo as after being through some tough times in the previous year he has an opportunity to start a new chapter in his life.
Ronaldo has ticked a new achievement in his career after being part of the most expensive signing as A Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, has signed CR7 for a hefty $214 million for 2.5 years.
Cristiano's admirers were not pleased by this move and they were quick to mock Ronaldo on social media. A Fan tweeted, "So in the end it was all about the money".
Meanwhile, he also attended a press conference where he retaliated against those who questioned his integrity. He said, “Many people speak and give their opinions but they do not know anything about football".
He further added, "As you know football now, probably the last 10-15 years it is different, all the teams are more prepared, more ready, it’s not the end of my career to come to Saudi Arabia. So I really don’t worry about what the people say.”
Many fans also wished him the best and they backed their idol's decision as they feel playing is still better than quitting. Meanwhile, Ronaldo is confident to bring glory to the club.
