For the likes of Ronaldo, Suarez, Messi, and Neymar the 2022 FIFA world cup was the last dance to showcase their class

Messi was the only one amongst the mentioned players who was able to accomplish his dream as he won Argentine their 3rd world cup and wrote himself a fairytale ending.

However, this edition of the world cup was a disaster for Cristiano and in fact he would be itching to erase the year 2022 from his memory.

In 2022, He got his Man Utd. contract terminated thanks to the Piers Morgan interview, and later had an early exit from the world cup which is speculated to be his last.

According to some reports, He was training at a Real Madrid training center and netizens were thrilled as they felt that he could join his former and successful club.

However, If sources are to be believed, Ronaldo might join a Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr for a billion-dollar deal. He will sign a 7-year contract as a player & ambassador which will be worth £170million-a-year.

Netizens were quite shocked by the news and they poured their emotions out on Twitter. A fan tweeted, "All that drama just to end up in Saudi.. what a downfall".

Many fans trolled the former Real Madrid star for the desperate signing by bidding him adieu from the champions league while few of the fans sent him best wishes for his upcoming journey.
