Ja Morant gun controversy has created quite a bit of speculation in NBA with two incidents this year. With the ongoing NBA finals, no official verdict on his punishment has been made besides the suspension.

Failing to make a change in behavior from his first gun controversy, Morant's actions in the second one have been expressed as extremely disappointing by NBA Commissioner Adam Silver.

On the other hand, Karlous Miller, a famous American comedian, has come out to show his support for Morant, criticizing Silver's comments and his lack of understanding of the situation.

Appearing on 'The Breakfast Club', Karlous commented- "Adam Silver can't even hoop, why is he the commissioner? I'm tired of listening to old white men who don't know what they talking about."

Adding further, he mentioned, "He ain't never dunked on nobody, he doesn't live in Memphis, he knows you can't walk around Memphis without a gun. Memphis is one of the realest cities in the world."

Talking about the gun culture in America and Memphis Morant's actions is justifiable to some extent, but NBA rules and culture consider it an act of undisciplinary behavior performed by an NBA star.

Besides this, there has been some validity to reports claiming the gun is a mere toy and not a real one. But with no relevant evidence being found, there seems to be no difference in the situation.

For Adam Silver, the suspension to be given will provide Morant with the assistance of the NBA and his team to prevent a similar third incident.
