Cody Rhodes has not been seen inside the WWE ring ever since Hell in a Cell where he further aggravated his already torn pec.
While there's no guarantee, Rhodes might likely be out of action for the remainder of 2022 due to the aggravated injury.
And to make things worse for Cody Rhodes fans, the American Nightmare hasn't been advertised for WrestleMania 39.

At least as far as the first advertisement for WrestleMania 39 is concerned, Cody Rhodes may not be a part of the biggest night in pro-wrestling history.
WrestleMania 39 will take place in California, and the WWE has dubbed the event as "WrestleMania Goes Hollywood." Currently, six superstars have been advertised by the WWE.
Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, Ronda Rousey, and Lashley have been advertised for WrestleMania 39.

Needless to say, the mention of Brock Lesnar, at the very least, outs the retirement rumors to rest. And it's safe to say Roman Reigns is not going anywhere as well.
