Media outlets such as The Athletic and Forbes stated his contract was incorporated with a $30 million signing bonus and the miscellaneous such as jersey sales and player image rights will boost his overall capital plotting up to the $75 million range.
Despite that, a report by Marca stated that Messi is unwilling to persist with the French club. This statement gave a glimmer of hope to the Barca fans as they sensed a possibility of Messi's return to Barcelona.
This saga produced yet another twist as it is now believed that Messi and PSG have reached an agreement on a contract extension however there is no official confirmation out yet
