Stephen Curry is considered the best shooter in NBA history, and with a regular season scoring average of 30.1 points, he earned his first scoring championship in 2016.

Curry's accuracy from the field was 50.4%, and his second-highest percentage was 45.4%, which was from beyond the arc.

As per the digital marketing sports director of 2K Sports, Ronnie Singh, Curry nearly shattered the NBA 2K record in 2016 by making infinite 3-pointers. He praised the Golden State Warriors’ point guard for his average points and shots.

Ronnie said in an interview, “I remember ... the biggest issue ... back in 2016, with Steph hitting all those 3s. Every game, like, he averaged five or whatever again, and all of a sudden, like that, was transformative, ……”

He continued, “……because how are we going to put this guy that shot for you 47% from the 3-point line into this game without breaking the game, right?”

Stephen Curry has always been a great shooter, but he surprised the game company, 2K Sports. As per Ronnie, there was a time when Curry's flawless shooting was going to ruin NBA 2K.

Ronnie said, “You know, kids want to duplicate it. They all wanted to build stuff. And like that was kind of tough to adapt to, because, again, it was kind of breaking that online experience of being able to play.”

Ronnie acknowledged that while NBA 2K was intended to be authentic, it was also intended to be enjoyable. As he said, "We want to be authentic, and we want to be, you know, a simulation, but we also want to be fun and accessible."
