Mexican boxer, Canelo Álvarez started his professional career in boxing just at the age of 15, since then he has come a long way and now is one of the modern-day greats.
There are many out there that claim that Canelo is the greatest boxer of all time, let's take a look at some of his professional career records.
Canelo Álvarez has participated in 61 matches in his whole career, and from that, he has a fantastic record of 57 wins, just 2 losses, and 2 draws.
Among those 57 matches, he has knocked out his opponent 39 times, and 11 of those knockouts resulted in him winning titles.
Canelo Álvarez has locked horns with his opponents in 14 matches for world titles. Among those he was victorious on 11 occasions and has won 17 belts in total.
In his impressive career, Canelo has faced many big boxers in the ring. A few of the big names were Floyd Mayweather, Gennadiy Golovkin, and Miguel Cotto.
One of his biggest fights was against Floyd Mayweather. During this match, Canelo was nowhere close to Mayweather and this match gave him his first defeat.
Even though Canelo Álvarez has had an amazing boxing career till now, he is not considered the undisputed GOAT of modern boxing.
