Portuguese Euro-winning legend Cristiano Ronaldo isn't only the all-time leading goal-scorer in international soccer history, but he is also one of the most goal-scorers in professional soccer.

Ronaldo scored twice during Portugal's 3-2 win over Slovakia to qualify for the Euro 2024. With those two goals, Ronaldo has taken his career goals tally to 857, including 125 international goals.

Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr star Ronaldo is enjoying the moment as the 38-year-old feels physically good. His current form also supports his good feelings.

While Porto president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa has recently challenged the Portuguese soccer legend to score 1,000 career goals, Ronaldo is focusing on short-term goals.

Although Ronaldo feels 1,000 career goals are pretty tough to achieve for him, he is confident of reaching 900 career goals.

After the Portugal vs Slovakia match, Ronaldo said, "Until I get to 1,000, first I have to get to 900. I think I'll get there."

Meanwhile, Portugal captain Ronaldo praised the team's effort to comfortably qualify for the Euro 2024 by winning all their first seven matches in the qualifiers group stage.

According to IFFHS' all-time goal-scorers ranking, Ronaldo is on top of the list with 857 goals. Argentine World Cup-winning legend Lionel Messi is behind Ronaldo with 819 goals.
