Brock Lesnar is one of the most popular superstars in the WWE universe. His dominance over his opponents attracts a lot of audience in WWE.
With WrestleMania around the corner, WWE initially planned to set up Brock Lesnar's fight with a famous WWE superstar. Brock, however, refused to work with him.
According to reports, The Beast Incarnate was set to face Bray Wyatt. Brock rejected this idea, and, as a result, WWE was forced to make a last-minute change and arrange a match between Brock and Omos.
The reason for the former Universal Champion not facing the Eater of the World was that it was difficult to sell a match involving supernatural elements as well as magic for a tough guy like Lesnar.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer said, "With Wyatt’s supernatural gimmick and total lack of "believability," it hurts a believe real-life tough-guy to have to sell the magic stuff."
"At one point in recent weeks it was Lesnar vs. Wyatt as the plan, with the idea that Lesnar would beat Bobby Lashley at Elimination Chamber to build do the match" he continued.
"When Lesnar turned down working with Wyatt, they had to get Lashley’s hand raised since Wyatt had said he would face the winner,'' he further added.
It will be interesting to see how fans react to the newly arranged match between Brock and Omos and whether they will support the Beast or criticize him for his decision.
