David Michael Bautista Jr. was born on January 18, 1969. David is an American actor and retired professional wrestler. David's ringside name was Batista.

"The Animal" had several stints in WWE between 2002 and 2019. Batista has won the World Heavyweight Championship four times and the WWE Championship twice.

Though he has been adamant about not returning to the ring, Batista returned to WWE on the final SmackDown episode of 2022.

"The Animal" recently revealed that he had a two-hour long conversation with his old friend, WWE CCO Triple H, on how things were back in their time and how things are now.

Batista and Triple H joined forces with Randy Orton and Ric Flair in 2003 to form "Evolution," with each member holding some form of championship gold during their run.

"I think this is the best thing for the company. It truly is," Bautista said of Triple H's new position as CCO. He further added that Triple H is the smartest guy he has ever met in his life and is responsible for his career.

Batista's first WWE run ended in 2010. The Animal made his return to the WWE in 2014 and in 2018 too. Batista lost to Triple H at WrestleMania 35 in a no-holds-barred match and retired from the WWE.

Ultimately, Batista became a full-time actor after receiving a role in the 2014 Marvel film, "Guardians of the Galaxy." WWE has given Hollywood many actors, including The Rock and John Cena.
