After experiencing long-term magic from Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, soccer fans are now looking for a new generation of talents. Erling Haaland is a special name in new-gen soccer.

The 23-year-old Leeds-born Norwegian striker Haaland now plays for Premier League side Manchester City. For any team, he is unstoppable, as he can score in any situation.

Even in his early period in the Premier League, Haaland has already thrashed many records. While Manchester City won their first UCL title last season, Haaland finished as the top scorer with 12 goals.

Without any doubt, the other top soccer clubs are chasing him and desperate to sign him at any cost. Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are reportedly preparing to add him.

According to a report by 90min, Haaland can join a La Liga side in the future. Meanwhile, SPORT has reported that any club can sign him next summer with a bid of at least $200 million.

Real Madrid is desperate to sign Haaland soon. Meanwhile, financially struggling Barcelona are reportedly getting ready to wage a strong battle with their La Liga arch-rival to sign Haaland.

Although their present financial situation can't afford Haaland, Barcelona is working hard to create possibilities. The club is looking at Haaland as the perfect replacement for Robert Lewandowski.

Javier Bordas, the former Barca director, previously told Mundo Deportivo that the Catalan club rejected his proposal to sign Haaland from RB Salzburg in 2020 by claiming he doesn't have 'Barca DNA.'
