Featherweight king Alexander Volkanovski holds the number 1 spot in the pound of pound best fighters in UFC list.
Alexander Volkanovski has beaten two former champions of his division, Max Holloway and Jose Aldo so far.
However, he still has not beaten one former featherweight champion and that is the Notorious Conor McGregor.
And Volkanovski is ready to fight Conor McGregor even in the welterweight division in order to get the best featherweight of all time crown.
“The only one I haven’t fought is Conor McGregor. He ain’t fighting featherweight again... I’ll do 170lbs, I’ll do whatever. I’m bulking up. Have you seen what I’m eating"- Volk called out McGregor.
Conor McGregor is recovering from his leg injury and he recently finished shooting for his first movie "Road House"
It's very likely that Conor McGregor will make his return in 2023. However, there has not been confirmation on his next opponent yet.
On the other hand, Alexander Volkanovski will take on Islam Makhachev for the UFC lightweight title fight in early next year.
UFC featherweight champion, Alexander Volkanovski is eating 4000 calories every day for his fight against Makhachev.
