Cristiano Ronaldo is unarguably one of the best soccer players of his generation. He has had an astonishing career filled with hefty achievements.
The Portuguese star has faced heavy criticism and went through a tough phase following the controversial interview with Piers Morgan. Man United had to cancel his contract, making him a freelancer.
And that's when, The former Real Madrid star stunned the Soccer fraternity by joining hands with a Saudi Arabian club, Al-Nassr for a hefty staggering $214 million.
However, the issue appears to be epitomized wherever the southpaw goes, with Al Nassr player referring to Ronaldo as a "hurdle."
According to some sources , Luiz Gustavo during an interview stated several pros and cons of having a player with a stature like Ronaldo in a team and how it impacts the team's performance.
Gustavo said, "Certainly the presence of Cristiano makes it difficult for us as all teams seek to participate against him in the best possible way, and he gives motivation to everyone [on the opposition].”
He further added, "His presence at Al-Nassr gives a great advantage to the group because we learn from him every day, given the great capabilities he possesses, both technically and physically."
However, Cristiano is not looking at his best in the initial matches, but one should not count him out yet as Ronaldo is known for comebacks and has every bit of potential to execute that comeback.
