Molly McCann has been an impressive fighter since joining the organization from Cage Warriors back in 2018. McCann was on a winning streak, including two devastating spinning elbow knockouts.

Molly McCann has now shocked the world as she announced that her next fight would take place in the strawweight division following her loss at UFC Fight Night in London to Julija Stoliarenko.

This is McCann's second consecutive loss since she was last submitted by Erin Blanchfield at UFC 281. Fans expected McCann to fill into the win column when she was slated for a fight against Julija.

McCann's loss stunned the crowd in London who had expected a different result. Molly indicated via her Instagram that she intends to come back better than ever and against a woman close to her size.

The flyweight fighter received a variety of hatred from the MMA fans around the world after her loss against Julija Stoliarenko at UFC London. McCann did respond to the haters after a while.

"To all the keyboard warriors who’ll give me down the banks and want to tell me about my self go ahead, I’m living my dream every single day, I’m winning in life." Stated McCann.

The 33-year-old has competed in the flyweight division for the entirety of her professional career with her only strawweight fight was an amateur bout in 2014 which she won via 1st round stoppage.

Considering, the strawweight division as the most talented women's division in the UFC, McCann might be hoping to have an easier time standing against the competition in a smaller weight class.
