In a disheartening news for wrestling fans around the world, veteran Jeff Hardy has once again made headlines for all the wrong reasons.
AEW had decided to re-sign with Jeff Hardy despite the wrestling star's recent arrest.
Jeff Hardy was arrested after he was found guilty of DUI in Florida. The video of the arrest was released by TMZ which shows Hardy in a completely dazed condition.
Jeff Hardy has a long-standing history with substance abuse, and the former WWE Superstar has found himself under the similar situations in the past.
In an official statement from Tony Khan, CEO of AEW, Jeff Hardy has not been let go by AEW.
Khan stated that AEW stands with Jeff Hardy during this tough time, and will happily have him back in AEW and compete inside the ring after he successfully completes his treatment and maintains sobriety.
Jeff Hardy currently remains suspended from AEW without pay.
