"Yesterday: one of my favorite days, including -great visits with fans + media -a trip to LA for the most fulfilling meeting of my life with @wbd leadership -dinner with my Dad + Dana White, where I got to break the news to Dana about MITB moving to MGM Today: #AEWRampage on TNT!" Khan tweeted.
Tony Khan also joked how WWE is going against UFC's International Fight Week for holding MITB in Vegas.
Tony Khan revealed that he met UFC President Dana White, and while the reason for the meeting remains under wraps, hd did inform that they had a word about WWE as well.
Khan's recent tweet was targeted at WWE after they decided to change their venue for upcoming premium live event Money in the Bank from Allegiant Stadium to MGM Grand Arena.
Needless to say, MGM Grand Arena is a small capacity stadium and even CM Punk had taken a subtle jibe at the company for their recent decision.
It was surprising to say nonetheless after it was reported that WWE has changed the venue for Money in the Bank. MITB marks the return of Roman Reigns, and a shift to a smaller venue certainly raises some eyebrows.
Why did WWE change the venue of Money in the Bank?
