WWE founder Vince McMahon recently made his return to the WWE as the Executive Chairman of the Board and his arrival has resulted in several changes behind the scenes.

The most shocking change that happened following McMahon's return was his daughter Stephanie's resignation as she left the roles of co-CEO and Chairwoman of the WWE.

Fans expected Vince McMahon to release the majority of the current employees following his return but as of now, it looks like most of them will be handling their jobs for the time being.

But one popular name was released by the company on Thursday. Mike Johnson of PWInsider has reported that WWE Hall of Famer D-von Dudley has been let go by the WWE.

D-von is famous for his run in the WWE as part of the iconic tag team "Dudley Boyz" alongside Bubba Ray Dudley. The tag team has won the WWE tag team championships 8 times.

He has been working as a backstage producer for the company since 2016 and he also started handling coaching roles at the WWE's Performance Center in Orlando Florida.

D-von recently made headlines after his request to be at a BCW show was rejected by the WWE. He was supposed to be at his kayfabe brother Bubba Ray's corner for his match against Matt Cardona.

It'll be interesting to see what happens for the WWE legend moving forward. The veteran star took to Twitter and thanked everyone who supported him during his run for the promotion.
