Anime and wrestling have some of the biggest fandoms in the world. Many of the big celebrities and wrestlers embrace their love for their favorite anime characters on their social media platforms.

It's quite interesting that some of the biggest names in WWE are avid anime enthusiasts. We'll take a closer look at five WWE superstars who proudly showcase their fandom for anime characters.

Asuka is hailed as one of the best pro wrestlers in WWE. Beyond her wrestling skills, she`s a dedicated anime fan, as her fandom has grown over the years as she shares her love for manga and anime.

Xavier Woods, also known as Austin Watson, doesn't hold back when it comes to celebrating anime. He and his New Day tag-team partners emerged from a giant box of "Booty-O's" in Dragon Ball Z armor.

Trevor "Ricochet" Mann lives up to his self-proclaimed title of "just a kid at heart." Ricochet is a big fan of My Hero Academia, often quoting the series and wearing apparel inspired by it.

Mercedes, fka Sasha Banks in WWE, adores Sailor Moon. As a kid, Sailor Moon was her first anime experience. She proudly displayed her Moon`s leggings on her Instagram account.

The Mami, Rhea Ripley, is a huge Dragon Ball Z fan. She cosplayed as Android 18 for a Halloween party, showcasing her love for the series. Ripley often shares DBZ-inspired posts.

Anime and professional wrestling may seem like two different worlds, but they collide in the passions of WWE superstars. These wrestlers have a surprising love for the characters that inspire them.
