As a sport, NBA has always welcomed players from different religions, faiths, and countries to the court.

There have been notable Muslim players, Christians, Jews, and even players who are Jehovah's witness. 

There are nearly 8 million people who are follow the faith, Jehovah's witness. These include some NBA players.

NBA player Darren Collison retired from NBA to become a Jehovah's witness. He was in the NBA from 2009 till 2019.

He retired in 2019, citing his belief in Jehovah's Witness as the main reason for his decision to hang up his boots.

Danny Granger grabbed a lot of eyeballs after being mentioned in a joke from comedian Brittany Schmitt.

Danny Granger revealed publicly that he is a Jehovah's Witness. According to reports, his parents also followed the same faith.

Dewayne Dedmon is the only active player who is a Jehovah's Witness and currently plays for the Miami Heat in the NBA.
