This weekend the UFC heads to Paris, France for only the second time in its history, as Ciryl Gane takes on Serghei Spivac in the main event. UFC Paris will be held at the Accor Arena on Saturday 2 September. Gane is making a return to the octagon following a loss against Jon Jones in March. Jones disposed of Gane in the very first round of their fight via submission.
12 months ago, Gane had his last victory in the octagon against Tai Tuivasa when the two headlined the first UFC Paris event. Before that fight, in 2022, Gane had his first shot at the heavyweight title against Francis Ngannou, which he couldn’t capitalize on as Ngannou clinched the victory after 5 grueling rounds via unanimous decision.

This, coupled with his loss to Jones at UFC 285, resulted in Gane having a disappointing record of 2-0 in title fights. As such, the Frenchman would be inclined to put on a good show on home soil to get another shot at the title in the future. His opponent, Spivac, will make this task tough considering he’s on a streak of 3 stoppage wins.
Which songs will Ciryl Gane and Serghei Spivac use for UFC Paris?
Ciryl Gane walked out “Zoo” by Ivorian-French rapper Kaaris at UFC 285. Before that, he chose to walk out to “Haine & S*x” by Gazo for his fight against Tai Tuivasa at UFC Paris last year. However, Prior to that, Gane chose “2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted” by Tupac ft. Snoop Dogg as his UFC 270 walkout song. For his UFC 265 bout, Gane used “Still Tripping” by Mike Jones and it featured Slim Thug and Paul Wall.
The Moldovan Spivac has chosen “Spivak” by Jurla in the past as his walkout song. He is likely to continue with the tradition.
What songs will Manon Fiorot, Rose Namajunas, and Thiago Moises walk out to?
In the co-main event, former strawweight champion Rose Namajunas moves up to flyweight to take on Manon Fiorot from France. In the past, Rose has been known to walk out to “Prolific Praise” by Trey McLaughlin and The Sounds of Zamar.
