Dana White, who has served as the President of UFC, is now working under the banner of CEO. The changes in regard to his position took place when WWE and UFC merged to form another entity TKO not long back.
White, a 54-year-old businessman, has been a controversial figure. However, it’s tricky to avoid the fact that he has transformed the UFC from a phase where it was near bankruptcy. In 2023, UFC stands strong in the field of combat sports.
Along with the success, he has earned hatred as well. No matter whether it’s a dispute over the fighter’s pay and contract or his argument with his wife Anne, he has gained a lot of attention throughout his time span during the organization.

Recently, a reel video of White went viral that has made fans react shockingly. In the video, Dana White accidentally bumped into a young boy. When the boy said, “Excuse me, bro,” Dana White playfully pretended to hold the boy’s neck to the ground.
Even though the clip seemed to be recorded in a fun manner, here’s how fans reacted to it. One fan asserted, “He’s going to federal fucking prison”. Another claimed, “That’s fucking illegal”.
One fan mockingly stated, “When a fighter asks for fair pay”, highlighting the UFC fighter’s recurring pay issue. Another joined and claimed, “Dana whenever anyone brings up fighters’ pay”.
Some fans even pointed out that it’s the way White used to beat wife Anne. One wrote, “Dude thought it was his wife for a second”. Another jumped in and commented, “I bet he did that to his wife as well”. To fans who are unaware, in January 2023, a clip went viral where Dana White and Anne were captured arguing and slapping each other in a nightclub.
Dana White once choked NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal
Dana White, the current UFC CEO, is no stranger to self-defence skills. The reason could be his long-time association with the organization that handles professional fighters.

It was some years back when Dana White confessed to being his own bodyguard. The incident involving the former basketball legend and sports analyst, Shaquille O’Neal, was revealed by White on his Twitter (now X) platform.
Shaq, in a playful manner, tried to snatch White’s backpack. However, Dana White took an interesting approach acting as his bodyguard. He shared an image where he was seen holding Shaq’s neck holding a wide grin on his face. Even though the incident was nothing else but a playful banter between the two, it highlighted Dana White’s stance on self-defence.
