As he usually does, Israel Adesanya took to his YouTube channel to react to the fights over the weekend. Thousands of his fans view his animated reactions and analysis of fights. One thing that caught his attention at UFC 299 on Saturday night was the impressive walkout by UFC debutant Michael ‘Venom’ Page.
Hell of a walkout for your UFC debut. MVP vs Holland has that big fight feel right now. pic.twitter.com/rSDSSYuRga

The newest addition to UFC’s packed welterweight division, MVP, gave us a lot to remember from his debut against Kevin Holland at UFC 299 in Miami. The first and foremost was his walkout. MVP walked out to the music of ‘The Undertaker’. The WWE legend is known to have inspired many fighters and his iconic walkout music gives every fan chills.
MVP used The Undertaker’s music in a remix and danced to it on his way to the Octagon. As he previously remarked, this was the ‘MVP brand’ that the UFC has signed off on. So, they gave him a little liberty to do his own thing for a walkout.

The Last Stylebender was excited and impressed with MVP’s walkout. He was visibly enjoying MVP’s choice of walkout song and his dance toward the Octagon. Adesanya called it “Cold.”
However, for Adesanya, this must have rang a few bells. At UFC 276, Adesanya walked out to The Undetaker‘s theme song with Triple H and Vince McMahon in the audience. He walked out with an Undertaker-like hat and an urn in his hand replicating ‘The Phenom’. Adesanya went on to defend his UFC Middleweight title against Jared Cannonier via unanimous decision like MVP defeated Holland.
Israel Adesanya was partially correct in his prediction for MVP vs. Kevin Holland
On his YouTube channel, Adesanya had also uploaded a prediction video. He predicted the outcome of the UFC 299 fights. In his video, he predicted correctly about MVP claiming a victory. However, he was wrong about the manner of the victory.
“To be honest, I want ‘MVP’ to go in there and snipe this guy,” Adesanya said. “But I just know Kevin is not one to just, like, back down. So I know he’s going to bring the fight, which could make it even easier for Michael to just find the shot, and put him away. I’m going to go with ‘MVP’ in this fight, trying to think, is it a knockout or decision? I think it’s gonna be a knockout.”
MVP and Holland had an entertaining fight when it came to their in-Otagon antics. MVP was dancing in intervals while getting some solid strikes in. He won the match comfortably via a unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, and 29-28).
Israel Adesanya was left impressed with Sean O’Malley’s “mesmerizing” performance at UFC 299
Sean O’Malley defended his UFC Bantamweight Championship for the first time at UFC 299 against Marlon ‘Chito’ Vera. The only loss on O’Malley’s record was inflicted by Chito and ‘Suga’ was out to make amendments.
He did exactly that with an extraordinary performance. O’Malley‘s game plan was immaculate and he stuck to it. His strikes were effective and powerful. Chito’s chin saved the day for the Ecuadorian. Probably any other fighter would have gotten knocked out with the strikes that were eaten by him. However, on the offensive, Chito could not do much.

Adesanya called O’Malley’s performance “mesmerizing” and “beautiful” in his reaction video. O’Malley won the fight convincingly via unanimous decision (50-45, 50-45, and 50-44).
