According to ‘The Predator’, it’s not only the money that matters for him. He could have earned more money with his association with UFC. However, he still chose to quit UFC and signed PFL earlier this year in May 2023.
He asserted, “I like a lot of components and again a lot, like a lot of component of this contract who was like uhh..the thing, the treatment, that they were giving me the access how easy they make stuff for me, you know, it’s gonna be the first time that my family gonna attend to my fight and I don’t even have to think about that they are gonna work on it. They are going to figure out how to bring my mom, my sister and my brother out to Saudi to watch that fight.”
Ngannou said, it’ll be the first time for his family to watch him fighting from this close and he’s extremely excited for it. Furthermore, nothing could have made ‘The Predator’ happier than this.
Why did Francis Ngannou leave the UFC?
The former UFC fighter Francis Ngannou shocked fans at the beginning of this year with his decision. It was in January when he chose to turn over his UFC heavyweight title. He last fought against Ciryl Gane at UFC 270 where he successfully retained his title. However, just after that, he took his departure.
Earlier the speculations were that there’s something going on between UFC CEO Dana White and Ngannou. Later on Ngannou himself confessed that it was him who wasn’t happy with the terms and conditions of his UFC contract.

He wanted to try other combat sports but while fighting for UFC he never got a chance. Now that he has signed a contract with PFL, he is eligible to compete for boxing and that’s the thing that is making ‘The Predator’ feel happy and confident.
