- UFC CEO Dana White mediated Bob Menery and Kyle Forgeard's argument.
- White picked Kyle's side as he slammed Menery with several accusations.
Bob Menery was on the receiving end of several cynical comments by Dana White as the UFC CEO was mediating an argument between Menery and Kyle Forgeard. Forgeard is the co-founder of the Nelk Boys and Menery was a co-host of the podcast. Menery left the team in 2022 and since then has had bad blood with the team. A lot has been spoken about the breakup by both the men but in the latest episode, White chimed in with his views.
Menery accused the team of not paying him his due money. Further, he accused the team that they used him and let him go when he was of no use to them. Menery had earned his fame before joining the Nelk boys as a sportscaster and a comedian. Menery claimed he brought several famous guests to the podcast who helped them grow. On the other hand, after leaving, he started his podcast called Ripper Magoo Podcast.
In retaliation, Kyle explained that Menery was paid over $1 million for his 10-month work at the podcast. He also explained via an image of the contract that they did not involve themselves in any wrongdoings. Kyle and the Nelk Boys team had White’s support. In the latest podcast episode, almost two years after leaving the podcast, Menery appeared and got battered by White.
Dana White gave Bob Menery $50,000 to shut his mouth
During the episode, White revisited what he claimed in 2022 about paying Menery to keep quiet. For context, Menery was the one who introduced White to Kyle and the Nelk Boys team. White and the Nelk Boys have grown close and have a good relationship. According to White, Menery takes every opportunity to remind people that he was the one who introduced them.

White said, “You never shut the f*ck up about it [introducing Dana to Kyle] and it was so annoying that I gave you $50,000 and said ‘Shut the f*ck up!'”
Although this might seem like a saying but White probably paid Menery in reality. Menery agreed when White made this claim without any refute.
White explained to Menery how UFC’s success involved the efforts of several stakeholders
White was unhappy with Menery and it showed. The UFC chief’s displeasure stemmed from Menery’s exit from the group. He said, “Bob Menery is absolutely f*cking delusional.”

According to White, it takes an overall effort from several stakeholders of the company to make it work. He gave the example of the Fertitta brothers and the UFC. The MMA promotion was about to be closed down because it was making losses. However, the stakeholders trusted the process and pitched in their valuable efforts. Today, UFC is the biggest MMA promotion.
“Kyle was being nice to you, very nice, the Nelk Boys didn’t need jacksh*t from you.” White told Menery. “…When you think that you’re worth this but you’re not, had you stayed here and done this right and been with them and you grinded out. These f*cking guys work hard, they work f*cking hard man, all these kids work hard and you know you come in with this inflated value of yourself.”
White was always on the Nelk Boys side and he made it clear again during this podcast episode. Menery looked embarrassed on several occasions but he stayed true to his beliefs throughout.
