In a surprising turn of events, fitness influencer Bradley Martyn stirred up a storm of controversy when he invited UFC champions Aljamain Sterling and Merab Dvalishvili onto his podcast, Raw Talk. Both Sterling and Dvalishvili, well-known figures in the mixed martial arts scene, engaged in a candid discussion with Martyn, covering a wide array of topics including recent fights and fellow fighters.
During the podcast, the trio delved into the aftermath of Aljo’s controversial victory over Petr Yan at UFC 259. Merab began by defending Aljo’s reaction and told Bradley, “I don’t know because you’re not really a real fighter…you don’t know…You don’t think like a fighter there… Maybe you’re strong, you’re training, but you’re not real, you’re not fighting in a cage, you don’t know how it takes.”

Bradley Martyn, perhaps attempting to defuse the situation, responded with humor, saying, “I’ll show you a thing or two, shut the fuc* up.” This particular exchange quickly gained traction, with fans expressing mixed feelings about Martyn’s approach. While his comments were seemingly intended in a light-hearted manner, supporters of Sterling weren’t amused.

The online community erupted with responses, showcasing a spectrum of reactions. One fan wrote, “Merab would do some bad things to bradley”. Others asserted that fighters should reconsider participating in Martyn’s podcast, “Fighters should really stop going on this guys podcast”.
One claimed, “Disrespect level:260%” labeling the incident as disrespectful to the fighters’ dedication and skill. One more fan jotted down the possible consequences, “He doesn’t want to wake up the next day with a complete set of teeth.”
As the controversy continues to ripple through the online sports community, one thing is clear, that is, Bradley Martyn’s words were highly inappropriate.
Bradley Martyn dreams of a “street brawl” with UFC star Merab Dvalishvili
In the podcast, Bradley threw a unique challenge to UFC star Merab Dvalishvili, igniting the spark for a potential street brawl. During the podcast, Martyn posed a thought-provoking question to Merab: How would he fare in a street brawl against him?
Dvalishvili, oozing confidence, asserted his capability to win in any scenario. A playful banter followed as Martyn highlighted his weight advantage, tipping the scales a hundred pounds heavier. Yet, undeterred, Merab coolly claimed that his weight disadvantage would serve as his secret weapon, wearing down the 260lb bodybuilder.

The intriguing twist didn’t end there. Sterling joined in, suggesting a match between Martyn and Dvalishvili. Martyn’s face lit up with enthusiasm at the proposition.
This isn’t the first time Martyn has talked about such things as similar questions have been asked to other UFC stars like Nate Diaz and Sean O’Malley. Notably, both Diaz and O’Malley sport a smaller stature compared to the heavyweight influencer. However, fans aren’t happy with Bradley’s inappropriate behavior.
