Ahead of the hugely anticipated showdown between two of the best Welterweights in the world, Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington will finally meet inside the octagon in a grudge-match after years of back and forth between both the fighters. Earlier, current Welterweight Champion Kamaru Usman spoke to TMZ Sports and shared his thoughts on the epic match-up.
“Woodley will get a win because one thing about Woodley, he fights southpaws very well. He fights them very well, he has that big counter right hand which is kind of like kryptonite to the southpaw stance.” Usman stated.

UFC Vegas 11 is nothing less than PPV with some of the most prominent names set to hail the UFC octagon this weekend With Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington will headline the main event, fans will witness the return of Donald Cerrone against rising contender Niko Price in the co-main event. Additionally, rising prospect Khamzat CHimaev will also make his UFC return after a historic run back in July of this year to take on top-15 ranked and a UFC veteran in his own rights, Gerald Meerschaert.

Can Tyron Woodley beat Colby Covington 2.0?
In the lead up to the fight, former Interim Champion stated that he has made significant changes to his game ahead of showdown against Tyron Woodley. Covington stated that he has switched to a southpaw stance which will give him enough space to generate enough power to finish his opponents. Covington exclaimed that he is going to finish Woodley come UFC Vegas 11 and that fight fans will witness a new version of Colby Covington 2.0.

“It might be a mental thing for them, you know. He has fought Colby before, he knows what’s about to come. I don’t think he understands the magnitude of it, but he understands what’s about to come. Is he gonna get it done? Who knows?” Usman said.
Kamaru Usman stated that everything will boil down to the mental aspect when both the fighters take on each other inside the octagon. Additionally, Usman also stated that Woodley‘s right-hand will play a huge role in Covington’s new approach to fighting with the southpaw stance.
