SUMMARY
- Comedian Katt Williams has got himself involved in a beef with several celebrities after making questionable claims against them.
- Williams talked about how Joe Rogan does not want him on the JRE podcast.
American comedian Katt Williams recently appeared on NFL legend Shannon Sharpe’s podcast and commented about Joe Rogan. Williams named several celebrities and made questionable comments about them. Many of those celebrities even responded to William’s comments almost immediately.
Williams appeared on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast recently. Sharpe might not have expected such an extensive reach on the episode as several celebrities have responded to comments made on the show.
Williams claimed that actor Kevin Hart and rapper Ludacris were offered millions by the record label Illuminati. He also called Hart a “studio plant.”

Ludacris replied to these claims via a freestyle rap on Instagram stating that he has “never been [part of] Illuminati.” On the other hand, Hart took to X and claimed William’s’ “anger” was something “honestly sad.”
Further, Williams accused comedians Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer of plagiarism. He accused Rickey Smiley, on the other hand, of lying as Smiley once claimed Williams’ role on Friday After Next was meant for him. Cedric responded through an Instagram comment, meanwhile, Smiley claimed he had “no reason to lie” on his radio show
Joe Rogan was also caught in this crossfire. Williams said, “If you were a comedian that cussed, you were ridiculed by the mainstream comedy-geist… That would be like me being on Joe Rogan. Joe don’t want me on there. I need to be on Shannon. Joe got six comedians that never been funny he wanna push out. But that’s really how it is.”
There is no known beef between Rogan and Williams before this comment. This came as a surprise to many fans and probably also to Rogan. The UFC commentator did not take long before responding to these allegations.
Joe Rogan responds to claims made by Katt Williams
Rogan, who has been on the comedy scene for decades, knows and is on friendly terms with several comedians. He has a widely known beef with comedian Carlos Mencia, however, nothing is known about hostilities with Williams.
I love Katt. He’s one of my favorite comics and I’d love to have him on. We talk about him all the time.
If he’s down I’ll make it happen. https://t.co/Dcnkt0lm2b— Joe Rogan (@joerogan) January 5, 2024
Therefore, Rogan’s response on X does not come off as a huge surprise. Rogan welcomed Williams to the Joe Rogan Experience podcast. He wrote, “I love Katt. He’s one of my favorite comics and I’d love to have him on. We talk about him all the time. If he’s down I’ll make it happen.”
It will be interesting to see if Williams responds to this invite from Rogan. Moreover, Williams might have to respond to several other celebrities who have responded to his call-outs.
