Someone with many tattoos is probably better positioned to judge other people’s choice of tattoos. So when someone like Marlon “Chito” Vera says a fighter has “sh*t” taste in tattoos, you have to pay attention.
In a recent interview with Brett Okamoto of ESPN, Chito Vera took a jibe at Sean O’Malley’s tattoos. The duo will share the Octagon on March 9 in the main event of UFC 299 in Miami, Florida, for the Bantamweight Championship.
“He have trash tattoos, whatever it means, I don’t know, I don’t care. But If you just, if you see playing the tattoo he got sh*t, I mean he really in my opinion, and in the tattoo world. I have been getting tattooed by the best in the world like not just big names as today, social media, but legends of the game.” Versa said.
Sean O’Malley has a lot of colorful tattoos on his body, to say the least. Be it the words “SUGA” written over his left eyebrow or “FAMILY” on the side of his right forearm. O’Malley even has inspirational quotes inked on his body. Muhammad Ali’s famous quote, “Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee,” is carved with ink on the right ribs in calligraphy.

And, well, of course, you must have noticed the colorful and vibrant owl tattoo on his chest. O’Malley’s choice of tattoos is certainly unique, much like everyone else’s.
Chito Vera shares his passion for tattoos
Marlon “Chito” Vera probably has more tattoos than his upcoming opponent, Sean O’Malley. The Ecuadorian native recently got a massive back tattoo from famous artist Mister Cartoon, who was renowned for having worked with some of the most notable names in the Hollywood and music industry.

Many fans will remember Mister Cartoon because of Eminem, who has cited him as the only person he would ever get a tattoo done from. To be able to get a piece of his work, Vera shared his excitement through social media.

The massive back tattoo on Vera signifies various memories from his own life. The giant rooster represents the UFC fighter’s childhood, when he used to go to rooster fights with his grandfather, while the orange trees are a reminder of his birthplace, also called the City of Orange. That’s not all; Vera has a lot of other different artworks on his back that remind the UFC fighter of some of the most memorable moments.
