Sean Strickland recently shared a video where he mocked Ian Garry and Layla Anna-Lee, the wife of the Irishman, who is a British sports presenter. In recent times, certain people within the MMA community, including Strickland, have been critical of Anna-Lee due to a book she authored a few years ago.
The book, titled ‘How to Be a WAG,’ purportedly imparts guidance to women on establishing and sustaining relationships with renowned athletes. Critics of the couple argue that the book advocates deceptive tactics for women to entrap and financially exploit well-known sports figures.
Additionally, critics of the couple have drawn attention to speculation that Anna-Lee’s ex-husband, nutritionist Richard Cullen, resides with them. On social media, Sean Strickland recently expressed his opinions through tweets and a video targeting Layla Anna-Lee and Ian Machado Garry. In the video, Strickland made disparaging comments about Anna-Lee and suggested to Garry that he should terminate his relationship with her.
Subsequently, Sean Strickland posted another tweet featuring what appears to be screenshots from a direct message conversation between himself and Ian Garry. Strickland disclosed that Garry had messaged him, warning that if he didn’t cease making such comments about Anna-Lee, legal action would be taken.
However, UFC legend Daniel Cormier feels that lawsuits are not the way to go in the world of fighting. “Ian Gary, great kid, but like I said when Jake Paul tried it or Logan Paul tried it, there is no suing in fighting, bro. You cannot try to sue nobody for fighting. You have to just go at him in a different way. That’s the way it is, said DC on his YouTube channel.
Nevertheless, Cormier pointed out that Strickland was also not right here as he got Garry’s wife involved in all this, which is not acceptable according to DC.
Sean Strickland lashes out at Ian Garry for threatening to sue
Sean Strickland recently spoke out against Ian Garry after he contacted the UFC Middleweight Champion with a threat of legal action. It seems Garry was dissatisfied with Strickland’s unfavorable remarks about his wife on social media and the reinforcement of a narrative suggesting that she manipulated him into marriage.

Lastly, Ian Machado Garry, a 26-year-old emerging talent in the UFC Welterweight division, is scheduled to take on the No. 8-ranked Vicente Luque at UFC 296 on December 16.
