UFC President Dana White finds himself in hot water following his slapping incident on New Year’s Eve. Previously, Dana got into a physical altercation with his wife, Anne White at a club in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
Although he is arguably a big reason why the UFC is successful, fans are in outrage over Dana’s actions. Despite his statement, stating that he is best friends with his wife, many are skeptical of the UFC head honcho. As such, many people think that Dana’s time as the UFC boss is up.

Previously, Dana White spoke about who could take over the reins from him as UFC boss. “There’s one guy that (can replace me)” White says. “And there’s certain things that I do that he wouldn’t be able to do, but the important things that get done over there is what really matters. And this guy could absolutely, positively, do it.”
When asked who he was referring to, White simply answers, “Nobody would even know who the f—k he is,” he said. “He’s a behind-the-scenes guy.” Although Dana spoke about this back in March last year, it makes sense, now more than ever, in the aftermath of the slapping incident.
While there is no update on the 53-year-old, many suspect that the UFC will make its decision very soon. Thus, many want the same treatment for Dana as Luis Pena and Dan Hardy. Previously, the UFC released Pena and Hardy for domestic violence and mistreating a female co-worker, respectively.
Will the UFC fire Dana White?
Currently, there has been no comment or official statement from UFC on the incident. However, that hasn’t stopped the online community from asking for Dana’s resignation across all social media platforms. Interestingly, not too many active UFC fighters have commented on the situation either.

Wonder if this will be ignored like Jon Jones or if they will mark the end of Dana White and usher in the Hunter Campbell era. https://t.co/NIkGFOMRgD

I love Dana and everything he has done for the sport… But he needs to be fired. If we want to be a credible sport we need to be treated as such. Roger Goodell would be fired, so would Adam Silver, Rob Manfred, and Gary Bettmen (Had to google that one…) #UFC #DanaWhite https://t.co/3q62oeZYSX

Was Dana White wrong , “YES” . Men shouldn’t hit women. Do I feel this is a reflection of who Dana White is , NO. Dana has been a component of second chances . I think speaking up against the topic and maybe sit out two events is fair! He admitted he was wrong !

Seriously? Beating up a woman???? Credibility right out the door and man card revoked.
No more @ufc for this guy— Paul Scotthorne (@vicpartycrasher) January 4, 2023
To make matters worse, old accusations of Dana’s infidelity have resurfaced as well! In an exposé, White’s mother June White alleged that the UFC President had an affair with his sister-in-law and UFC ring girls. With all this evidence out there for everyone to see, surely the UFC will have to make a decision.
Do you believe that White will be fired from the UFC? Or will the UFC put this incident behind them to protect White? Who do you think is the mystery man Dana was referring to as the next UFC President? Leave us your thoughts in the comments below.
