Conor McGregor is widely known for his controversial take on the social media platform X. Furthermore, he is also known for quickly deleting those controversial tweets out of nowhere. Recently, he was called out for deleting the tweets he made against the Irish government. However, Conor has now revealed the real reason for deleting his tweets.
One X user by the name of ‘JM’ called out McGregor for deleting his tweets regarding the trouble in Ireland. “I see that brave patriot Conor McGregor has deleted the bulk of his recent tweets now he’s under legal threat,” wrote the X user. Furthermore, he claimed that true patriots never shied away from their beliefs. However, Conor quickly responded to this gentleman via X.
Not at all. My statements, widely publicized, stand. I remove after they have been up and well reported on for a plethora of reasons. Some personal. Seeing my country in flames hurts my heart. Seeing a man label a person who stabs innocent children in broad daylight a “gentleman”… https://t.co/Ts3gHUePVl

Conor McGregor was in total disagreement with ‘JM’. “I remove after they have been up and well reported on for a plethora of reasons. Some personal,” said Mcgregor. Furthermore, he went on to reveal his reasons for deleting tweets. “As it stands, I am not appointed by the state. I post my thoughts, I allow reporting, then I am in my right to remove from my line,” stated ‘The Notorious One’.
Furthermore, Conor also claimed that if he kept engaging in his tweets, it would impact his life in a multitude of ways. McGregor said that he has a family, multiple businesses, and an upcoming fight, so it is time-effective to delete the tweets. At last, he claimed that he’d always take a stand when it came to his country.
UFC prospect claims that Conor McGregor is incompetent to become a president
Many Irish MMA fans were happy to see Conor McGregor taking a stand for his country. Furthermore, some of them requested that he run for the presidency of Ireland. Recently, Conor teased his fans with a tweet reading, “Ireland, your President,” along with his picture. However, a fellow UFC lightweight prospect feels that McGregor is incompetent to become the president of Ireland.
Arman Tsarukyan is coming off a very impressive win against Beneil Dariush at UFC Austin. Furthermore, the lightweight prospect is inching closer to a rematch against Islam Makhachev. In a recent interview with Meta MMA, Tsarukyan was asked if he could see McGregor become the president of Ireland.
“I don’t think he has any competence to become a president,” said Tsarukyan. Conor McGregor has not responded to this statement as of now. It will be interesting to see how ‘The Notorious One’ would respond to this criticism from Arman.
Furthermore, he also talked about Conor McGregor’s awaited return and having a potential match with him. According to Arman, ‘Mystic Mac’ will make his return against Michael Chandler. He also feels that McGregor is more likely to win against Chandler as compared to the other top lightweights. Lastly, he also showed some serious interest in a big paycheck fight against Conor in the future.
