Ric Flair asked Rogan, “What do you think of Jon Jones?” to which Rogan replied, “Uhh, Jon Jones? He’s just so good. He’s on another level. He’s beaten so many world champions I mean he’s beaten everybody. Ric further questioned, “Think Brock could have get in there with him?” to which Rogan explained, “That would have been very interesting cuz Brock was so fucking big and Brock’s wrestling was so good and you know when that guy shot a power double it was like getting hit by a bus yeah. He was so big it would be interesting.”
Flair then steered the conversation towards the intriguing scenario of Jon Jones facing off against Brock Lesnar. In a past interview with “The Sporting News” journalist Karisa Maxwell, UFC champion Jon Jones revealed his desire for an epic showdown with WWE superstar Brock Lesnar. Jones, known for his technical prowess, expressed his fascination with the idea of facing Lesnar, despite the stark contrast in their fighting styles.
“I think fighting Brock Lesnar would have been really cool. Brock isn’t the most technical guy, but he has a massive fanbase. He’s a lot bigger than me, and it would have been one of those really cool David vs. Goliath situations,” Jones remarked.
He added, “I think we both would have done great things for our family and for our team financially. That would have been massive… Never say never. Brock, if you’re out there.”
To those who are aware, the MMA world was once ruled by Brock Lesnar who became UFC Heavyweight Champion in 2008. However, as per sources, he won’t be returning to UFC. Even though fans are sure that no such clash can ever take place, they can’t stop thinking of what would be the results if such a clash ever took place.
