Conor McGregor, the UFC superstar, will be making his acting debut in Amazon Prime Video’s reinvented version of the 1980s classic Road House, starring Patrick Swayze. He also teased fans on Twitter where he revealed the most awaited premiere of the movie to his fans.
The movie features a number of stars from Hollywood and involves Jake Gyllenhaal, who will be playing the protagonist. ‘The Notorious’ and Gyllenhaal arrived at the finish of the UFC 285 ceremonial weigh-ins earlier this year to film sequences for the film, giving UFC fans a sneak peek.
McGregor rejected earlier film offers from Hollywood, but indicated an interest in the Road House project after seeing the original. After sharing a video on Twitter, the Irishman has now informed fans of the film’s release date. Here’s the video:

Conor McGregor can be seen in the video greeting fans in front of a restaurant and signing their Proper No. Twelve Irish Whiskey bottles before answering a fan’s question about when the film would be released. “September or maybe the end of this year, late 2023 or early 2024. I’m buzzing for it.” He stated.
Fans express their satisfaction with Conor McGregor’s documentary: McGregor Forever
On May 17, Netflix published Conor McGregor’s new four-part documentary, which recounts the Irishman’s career and recovery from injuries. The Religion of Sport produced the series directed by Gotham Chopra, who has already done films about LeBron James and Tom Brady. McGregor Forever looks to have been a big hit with fans, as the reaction on Twitter has been overwhelmingly favorable.
As per The Sporting News report, the documentary’s summary, “From making ends meet to lavish rides and fur coats, the Irish MMA champion grants an all-access pass to the highs — and lows — of his ascent.” It will depict his ascent to popularity, his loss at the hands of Khabib Nurmagomedov, the controversy surrounding that bout (throwing a dolly at a bus, for example), and his family.
In the meantime, ‘The Notorious has not competed since breaking his leg in the trilogy defeat to Dustin Poirier. McGregor, a Crumlin native, drops out of the UFC ranks in 2022 after not competing since UFC 264 in July 2021. He’s probably going to return and consider that he hasn’t won a lightweight match since defeating Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205 in 2016.
According to reports, ‘Mystic Mac’ missed his USADA deadline for racing in 2023 and would have to wait longer than intended. For his Octagon comeback, it is expected the Dubliner to be booked against either Michael Chandler or Tony Ferguson.
