Israel Adesanya released a video on his YouTube channel where he reacted to the combat sports events that took place over the weekend. One of the highly anticipated events was The PRIME Card. Logan Paul faced Dillon Danis and KSI faced Tommy Fury in Manchester for an event that was watched all over the world.
Danis disappointed everyone with his shambolic performance in the ring. He was on the defensive throughout. His whole idea was to not get knocked out even though it would result in him losing convincingly via a decision. However, he took it a notch further and lost the match due to a disqualification. Security had to come into the ring to break up the fight and Adesanya claimed that the fighters needed to be more professional.
In the main event, KSI faced Tommy Fury and Adesanya was animated during the fight. The former UFC Middleweight champion was surprised when Fury hit KSI while the referee had stopped them for a break. Adesanya said, “What the f*ck was that? He just slapped him. He just pimp-slapped him when the ref was right there. The ref was right there.”
KSI lost that bout via a majority decision. Although the decision was later changed to a unanimous one, KSI said he would appeal the decision because he felt he won. Adesanya felt the same. He said, “I thought KSI, like in the fight, just looking at it, as a fight, I thought KSI won.”
Fans all across the world thought KSI had beaten Fury. However, the judges’ scorecard told a different story. Even though millions tuned in to watch the event that was eagerly awaited, the quality of boxing was below par.
Israel Adesanya also believes Tommy Fury repeatedly hit KSI on the back of the head intentionally
After the bout, KSI faced the wrath of the fans for a salty post-fight interview. Fury along with many netizens called him a sore loser. However, KSI complained about one thing that even Adesanya agreed to.

KSI claimed that Fury was intentionally hitting him on the back of the head. In boxing, that is dangerous play and is illegal. The Love Island star was also deducted a point because of it in the second round.
Adesanya also claimed that it was “dangerous” and that Fury kept “doing it on purpose.” The UFC fighter praised KSI for his stance and well-connected punches. But, the YouTuber still faced defeat.
Appeals in boxing have rarely ever brought a change in the decision announced by the judges. It will be interesting to see if any more changes take place in the KSI vs Fury fight decision.
