The world is filled with lookalikes and doppelgangers but famous TikToker Rodney Peterson seems to have taken the saying to a whole other level. Renowned YouTuber and WWE wrestler Logan Paul would have never expected to meet who he did in 2022. The 28-year-old met a lookalike who shares a striking resemblance with him.

Viewers on the giant platform were in awe of the uncanny similarity Rodney shared with Logan in terms of his face and hairstyle. The 34-year-old became so popular that even Logan’s brother Jake Paul commented on one of his viral videos. Using his appearance and mannerisms, Peterson has seemingly bagged the award for the best celebrity lookalike so far.

However, Logan wasn’t at the back of his mind when the Iowa resident chose to create a TikTok account. In fact, Rodney wasn’t even aware of the YouTuber’s existence. It was only when people started flooding his comment section is when he decided to google and discover Logan Paul once and for all.

How did Rodney Peterson become famous?

As per his interview with Insider, Rodney basically never went on social media. The 34-year-old didn’t even have a Facebook account and hadn’t certainly been on TikTok. A dad of four, Peterson spent most of his time in his profession of building fences.

In 2020, Rodney’s wife showed him some funny TikTok videos, which got the duo hooked on the platform. Soon after, the two decided to hold a competition of who reached 1000 followers first. His wife ended up beating him, but Rodney continued posting, mainly about his hobbies – music, and jiu-jitsu.

Even though his account kept growing, Rodney kept receiving more and more heat due to his resemblance with the YouTuber. Viewers genuinely seemed to mistake him for the actual YouTuber, resulting in trolling him for his controversies from the past.

Some viewers even referred to him as “Logan Paul after drugs” or the “cracked out” version of Paul. While these aren’t flattering comments, they didn’t seem to bother Rodney. In fact, Peterson was finally able to meet Logan on October 31, 2022, when the latter came with a special delivery of PRIME hydration.

The viral doppelganger and Logan appeared in a black shirt, hat, and pants along with white shoes and a gold chain. Paul posted the same video on his TikTok channel as well, with the caption, “this was weird.”

Why did Nate Diaz choke out the Logan Paul lookalike?

Nate Diaz has had as many controversies as perhaps the number of wins he has garnered throughout the course of his MMA career. Despite his career graph, the Stockton native has always made it a point to put loyalty above anything else.

Earlier on April 21, fans witnessed Diaz sitting ringside at Misfits Boxing 6 in support of his longtime teammate Chris Avila. However, during Avila’s co-main event, Nate appeared to incite a scuffle by throwing a water bottle at reality TV star Chase DeMoor. Soon after, it was announced that officials had escorted Diaz out of the venue.

However, this didn’t seem to stop the 38-year-old to continue creating a ruckus. A clip that has since gone viral shows, Nate, choking out a Logan Paul lookalike. As per the clip, Diaz seems to hold the man in question in a standing guillotine choke.

A few seconds later, the lookalike’s body drops to the floor and Rodney Petersen lies there motionless. Since a backstory leading up to this scuffle hasn’t been revealed yet, it is unclear why would Diaz choose to opt for such an option.

Witnesses claim that it was Rodney Peterson, the viral TikToker and doppelganger sharing a striking resemblance with Logan Paul. Despite the uncanny similarity, no confirmation has yet been made about the individual’s identity.
