The last non-pay-per-view UFC event in the United States for 2023 is scheduled to be held at Moody Center in Austin, Texas, on December 2. Cory Brundage (9-5) is set to face undefeated UFC debutant Zachary Reese (6-0) in a middleweight bout at the upcoming UFC Fight Night.
This will be Brundage’s fourth fight in 2023. The 29-year-old athlete, hailing from Factory X, aims to balance his yearly record after experiencing consecutive losses to Rodolfo Vieira and Sedriques Dumas in April and June. He recently secured a disqualification victory over Jacob Malkoun at UFC Fight Night 228 last month.
Brundage joined the UFC in September 2021, a year following an unsuccessful appearance on Dana White’s Contender Series, and currently holds a 3-4 record in the promotion. On the other hand, Reese secured his spot in the UFC by earning a contract with a first-round submission win over Eli Aronov in the Contender Series in August.

Zachary Reese vs. Cody Brundage prediction
Cody Brundage boasts a background in wrestling and will look to score some points while keeping things on the ground. The problem with him, however, has been his consistency. Before his disqualification victory against Malkoun, he lost three back-to-back fights in the UFC.
His opponent, Zachary Reese, has been a complete carnage ever since he entered the world of mixed martial arts. He boasts an incredible number of significant strikes landed per minute of 6.49, which makes him a scary knock-out artist. His game plan would be to just keep the game on the ground as much as possible against Brundage. If he does manage to do so, it should be another first-round finish for the 29-year-old middleweight fighter. However, this one is expected to be a close match-up.
