Furthermore, in the co-main event, we have two longstanding lightweights and fan favorites, Dan Hooker and Bobby Green. Previously, Hooker secured a hard-fought split-decision victory against the dangerous Jalin Turner. As for Green, he’s coming off back-to-back wins against Tony Ferguson and Grant Dawson. Still only 37 years young, Green continues to age like fine wine.
However, that’s not all as we also have a whole host of other fights, that will truly leave you entertained. Notably, Rob Font welcomes former flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo to bantamweight. Other than that, we have Sean Brady taking Kelvin Gastelum, Punahele Soriano vs. Dustin Stoltzfus, and Khalil Rountree Jr. vs. Azamat Murzakanov rounding this truly epic card.
UFC Fight Night: Dariush vs Tsarukyan fight purse and salaries
Before we delve into the salaries and fight purses for the event, here are a few important things to keep in mind. For the most part, it is difficult to get the exact fight purse of a fighter as it includes sponsorships, performance, and victory bonuses. However, we can make an estimate of a fighter’s earnings, based on their previously revealed salaries.
Previously, Beneil took on Charles Oliveira at UFC 289 and suffered a KO loss in the very first round. However, despite the defeat, he collected a nifty $400,000 which included a sponsorship bonus worth $16,000. As for Tsarukyan, The Sports Daily reported that he collected a mere $90,000 in his win against Joaquim Silva. Thus, “Ahalkalakets” is expected to see his biggest payout yet with this one.
For his war against Jalin Turner, Hooker was given a guaranteed pay of $171,000. Thus, you can expect to see a similar amount for his guaranteed pay against Green. Previously, Bobby headlined UFC Vegas 80, taking down Grant Dawson and securing $256,000 and a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus as well.
For his UFC Nashville headliner against Cory Sandhagen, InsideSport reported that Font pocketed $325,000. As for Figgy, the former flyweight champ has been plagued with low fight purses. In his fourth fight against Brandon Moreno, ‘Deus Da Garra’ only brought in a middling $200,000, which is expected to be his payout for this one as well.
According to numerous sources, Sean Brady took home $56,000 for his first-ever loss in the UFC. However, if he wins against Gastelum, he is expected to earn nearly $150,000 as per sources. For his long-awaited welterweight debut, Kelvin Gastelum is expected to earn around the same as his guaranteed pay, with a potential $100,000 bonus, should he win.
