At long last, what seemed like a distant dream of MMA utopia is finally upon us. UFC 300, depending on where you are in the world is perhaps but a sleep away. With everything said and done, we can finally get down to the nitty-gritty of it all when the fighters take to the Octagon in a few hours’ time.
Naturally, coming into UFC 300, all eyes are on the main card, which is full of some mind-blowing fights. Opening up the card, we have highly touted prospect Bo Nickal taking on the tough and explosive Cody Brundage. Following that, we will see Charles Oliveira battle it out against Arman Tsarukyan for the #1 contender spot and a chance to get the rematch against Islam Makhachev.
Up next, we will have the ‘People’s main event’ where Justin Gaethje defends his BMF title against Max Holloway. Then, in the co-main event, we will see for the first time ever, two Chinese WMMA fighters, with Zhang Weili defending her title against Yan Xiaonan. Lastly, the main event of UFC 300 will see Alex Pereira defend his light heavyweight crown against the former champ Jamahal Hill.
UFC 300 main card predictions
All things considered, the night is going to be one for the history books. With that, let’s take a look at what’s in store for fans and what outcome they can expect to see. As such, here are the predictions for the main card of UFC 300 that goes down at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV on April 13, 2024. ‘
Bo Nickal vs Cody Brundage: Bo Nickal to win via decision
Starting off the main card, Bo Nickal comes in as the biggest favorite possibly in UFC history. Due to the amount of hype behind the 28-year-old, the promotion is actively fast-tracking him to superstardom. At the same time, Cody Brundage is no pushover and will be a much more difficult challenge than the odds indicate. Notably, Brundage possesses a good and powerful blitz that can catch many off guard. At the same time, Bo is still to fully find comfort in his striking, but his awkwardness could pay off in his favor too.
Charles Oliveira vs Arman Tsarukyan: Arman Tsarukyan to win via KO or Submission
One of the more high-stakes contests on the card, it is clear that both fighters would like a shot at redemption against Islam Makhachev. Despite many picking Arman to win this one, Charles remains one of the most dangerous fighters in his division. With many suggesting that Tsarukyan could make the same mistakes Justin Gaethje and Michael Chandler have made in the past, the Armenian is well-equipped to pull off a massive upset.

Justin Gaethje vs Max Holloway: Max Holloway to win via decision
Naturally, neither fighter needs an introduction for this one. At the same time, we also know how this fight is going to play off, with both fighters coming in ready to swing and knock the other person out. Here, Holloway’s pressure and movement to cut off the leg kicks will be key. As for Gaethje, he will need to be careful and not load up too many times in search of a knockout. Seeing that Max’s volume is unmatched, it is entirely possible that he can drown out Gaethje en route to a grueling decision at UFC 300.
Zhang Weili vs Yan Xiaonan: Zhang Weili to win via KO/TKO
Despite many WMMA title fights in recent history ailing to impress, this one is expected to bring the fireworks that fans love to see. Whilst Weili is known for her striking skills, Xiaonan will likely back herself, coming off the back of a superb KO win over Jessica Andrade. All things considered, it is very likely that the contest will be decided on the feet. Whilst Xiaonan is no slouch, Weili is just a little bit better, making her an obvious pick at UFC 300.

Alex Pereira vs Jamahal Hill: Jamahal Hill to win via KO/TKO
Throughout the buildup of this fight, we have seen a lot of slander on Jamahal Hill. With many people doubting and discrediting him, despite being a former champion, it has seemingly lit a fire underneath him. Although Alex Pereira is one of the best strikers on the planet, a motivated Hill with plenty of brute force and power could prove to be a major challenge. As such, Jamahal’s fire is likely set to carry him through or cause him to be overly emotional and make a fatal mistake at UFC 300.
