The historic UFC 300 Card is set to take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada, part of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Area, United States, on April 13, 2024. UFC president Dana White announced the final fight for the main card, which would be the current light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira headlining the event against former champion Jamahal Hill for the title.
The main event was kept suspenseful for a long time, and White finally revealed it during the UFC 298 PPV event. Apart from this elite matchup, many other current and former UFC champions will be part of this event. In total, there will be 11 UFC champions of the present and past putting their skills on display for the fans.
Alex Pereira (c) vs. Jamahal Hill
The current champion, Alex Pereira, will be making his first title defense against Jamahal Hill. Hill had won the Light Heavyweight title against Glover Teixeira at UFC 283 via decision. He had to later vacate the championship due to a ruptured Achilles tendon injury and has been out of action since then.

Zhang Weili has been a dominant force in the women’s strawweight division and is ranked No. 2 in the UFC women’s pound-for-pound rankings. She also holds the second-most title fight wins in UFC Women’s Strawweight Division history. Her opponent, Yan, also holds the second-longest win streak in UFC Women’s Strawweight Division history and is coming off two big victories.
Justin Gaethje (c) vs. Max Holloway
Former Interim Lightweight Champion and current BMF title holder Justin Gaethje will be facing former Featherweight Champion Max Holloway for the BMF title. This would be the first time the BMF championship has been defended and could add to its significance, especially when it includes two of the most explosive strikers in the game.
This would be one of the most hyped-up bouts for the card, and fans can expect a total slugfest. Both of the UFC fighters are veterans of the game and are known for giving memorable highlights in the octagon.
Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan
Another big lightweight bout on the table would be former Lightweight Champion Charles Oliveira going up against No. 4-ranked Arman Tsarukyan. This would be for the No. 1 contender spot against the current champion, Islam Makhachev. Charles has had one of the greatest lightweight title reigns, defeating the likes of Justin Gaetje, Michael Chandler, and Dustin Poirier before losing to Islam.

Arman, who is currently on a three-fight win streak, also previously faced the current champion on his UFC debut. Although he lost the bout via decision, this could be his shot at redemption and fulfilling his dream. Both fighters are extremely skilled and equipped to put on a show for the MMA community. Arman is confident that he will be able to exploit Charles’s weakness and make the most of the opportunity.
Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic
Along with the light heavyweight main event, two other light heavyweights will be part of the UFC 300 card. This would include former champion Jiri Prochazka going up against No. 5-ranked light heavyweight Aleksandar Rakic. Rakic would be making his return to the octagon after suffering a tear in the anterior cruciate ligament during his bout against Jan Blachowicz at the UFC on ESPN 36.

Both the light heavyweights would be looking to put on an early finish to this bout, cementing their place in the title run.
Calvin Kattar vs. Aljamain Sterling
Former UFC bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling will be making his UFC featherweight debut against No. 8-ranked Calvin Kattar. Sterling last competed against Sean O’Malley at UFC 292, losing his title via second-round TKO. The former champion has long been rumored to move up a weight class closer to his natural weight and the division in which he initially started his career.
Kattar has also had his moments in the octagon, known for his crisp striking and technical battles. He has fought the likes of Max Holloway, Arnold Allen, and Josh Emmett and could be a real challenge for the former featherweight champion.
Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt
Another UFC champion moving up a weight class would be former Flyweight title holder, Deiveson Figueiredo, squaring up against former Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt. Both mixed martial artists have a high pace and power-fighting style, and it could be one of the most elite striking battles on display for the fans at the UFC 300 event.
