Tyler Nubin can turn out to be a first-round pick in the NFL draft next year
The college football stats of Tyler Nubin scream nothing but talent. It seems like the star player is all set to enter the NFL. Former NFL scout Jim Nagy recently shared a post on X which created a buzz in the football world. Nagy posted a clip from the match between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and Minnesota Gophers focusing on Nubin. He added a caption as well stating that the teams can go for the defensive back next year.
“NFL fans who aren’t happy with their starting safeties heading into opening day need to remember the name of @GopherFootball playmaker Tyler Nubin,” he wrote.

People are already looking at Nubin as a great prospect for the NFL draft next year. Dane Brugler, an NFL draft analyst has predicted that Tyler Nubin can be a first-round draft in 2024. He further predicted the star player to be the 32nd pick. Brugler mentioned that the Gophers star could have been a Day 2 pick if he participated this year.
“Nubin would have been a Day 2 pick had he declared for the 2023 draft, but he elected to return to Minnesota for his senior year. With his athleticism and opportunistic ball skills, he has NFL starting ability,” he wrote.
This year, the New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, and New York Giants have drafted several Gophers stars. So, keeping the talent of Tyler Nubin in mind, it won’t come as a surprise if he signs a big contract with a team next year.
