Although Kristaps Porzingis dealt with injuries throughout the majority of the Celtics’ postseason push, there is no denying that he played a pivotal role in helping his squad get past the Dallas Mavericks. Porzingis was feeling himself during the championship parade and was spotted wearing a WWE championship belt.

While a WWE belt has no real connection to the basketball world, the essence and symbol of wearing the belt is understood all across the sports community. At this point in time, Porzingis is an NBA champion and is allowed to believe that he is a valuable asset to the best team in the world.
Derrick White tossed beer cans for Celtics fans in the parade
Another player who had a large impact on the Boston Celtics’ success this season was Derrick White. He and Jrue Holiday were the stars who were entrusted with the task of primarily guarding Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving. White even lost a tooth in the process of helping the Celtics win.

All of that appeared to be a small price to pay. Derrick White was spotted having the time of his life during the championship parade. He even tossed beer cans into the crowd and pleased the crowd by doing so. Showing care and attention for fans while in the midst of celebrating his own achievement is quite special and unique.
Sam Hauser removed his shirt and celebrated
A championship parade isn’t really complete until one star decides to go shirtless in order to celebrate. Sam Hauser was not a starter for the Celtics throughout the regular season. However, he played big minutes during the NBA Finals and established himself as another option that the Celtics could turn to when they needed to score.

Hauser decided to make the most of the championship parade and took off his shirt. He began swirling it around in the air and entertained the Celtics fanbase with this act.
Joe Mazzulla’s son entertained the Boston Celtics fans with his dance moves
While one might assume that only the main members of the Boston Celtics were the center of attention during the championship parade, their families are also allowed in on the celebration. Not only was Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla present and celebrating his team’s accomplishment, his son was also allowed on the championship bus.

Mazzulla’s son broke out some impressive dance moves in order to celebrate the success of the team coached by his father and impressed the Boston Celtics fanbase in the process. Given that many fans likely didn’t even know that Mazzulla had a son, this was an unexpected way for the young boy to make his presence felt at the parade.
Jaylen Brown recreated the iconic scene from Titanic
The main focus of the Boston Celtics’ 2024 championship parade was Jaylen Brown. After all, he is the main reason that the team was able to defeat the Dallas Mavericks and was given the Finals MVP award for the elite play that he displayed during the NBA Finals.

Brown was the center of attention in this parade and even recreated the “I’m King of the World” scene from the Titanic movie. He spread his arms while embracing the moment that he had worked hard for throughout his entire career.
